BMW 640D Convertible

Four seats, roof down and a six-cylinder diesel with power to spare: the 640d Convertible is one of the most elegant ways to turn a long journey into a pleasure. A grand-touring convertible with long lines and a discreet yet unmistakable presence.

The 3.0 twin-turbo straight-six produces 313 PS and 630 Nm from 1,500 rpm, with an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive. It reaches 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and 250 km/h. This 2012 example has covered 120,000 km.

The 6 Series was born in 1976 with the E24, successor to the E9 coupés. This third-generation convertible was unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2011 and received a Red Dot design award that same year.
