Warranty
A.
All our vehicles are sold with a 36-month warranty to the final consumer (as defined by law under Decree-Law no. 84/2021, of October 18), barring a reduction by agreement between the parties, under the terms of the law, to a minimum of 18 months.
B.
For vehicles sold for professional use, the regime set out in the Portuguese Civil Code (articles 913 et seq.) regarding the sale of defective goods shall apply, excluding everything contained in this information, without prejudice to what is applicable regarding the vehicle's maintenance obligations.
C.
The Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse by the buyer or improper use;
- Wear and tear parts or consumables;
- Mandatory vehicle maintenance and/or recommended by the brand for the vehicle, which shall always be the sole responsibility of the buyer, without exception;
- Periodic inspections, maintenance, repair, and replacement of components due to normal use and wear;
- Any compensation or restoration of vehicle conformity in the event of an accident, as well as all damages caused by the aforementioned to third parties and the occupants of the vehicle.
- Any compensation or restoration of vehicle conformity in the event of fire or explosion of the vehicle is excluded from the warranty, as well as all damages caused by the aforementioned to third parties and the occupants of the vehicle.
- Expense of transporting the vehicle to the location indicated by the seller for its repair, when the vehicle is physically delivered to our premises. When the vehicle is delivered to the home, the responsibility for transport is limited to picking it up at the buyer's home.
D.
During the warranty period, the BUYER must:
- Report, in writing, any malfunction in the vehicle's operation as soon as they become aware of it. The BUYER may also report the anomaly up to two months after the date of its discovery, but in this case, the warranty does not cover the worsening of damage resulting from late communication.
- The restoration of conformity must take place at the SELLER'S premises or at a location to be indicated by them.
- Perform the periodic maintenance and overhaul operations indicated by the VEHICLE manufacturer, at brand dealerships, or at repair shops recommended by the SELLER. Said operations must be proven in the service and warranty booklet or by a copy of the work order accompanied by the respective invoice. These operations are at the BUYER'S expense.
