Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid

In 2013, plugging a Porsche into the mains seemed a provocation. This Panamera S E-Hybrid proves it was foresight: a four-seat saloon with a Gran Turismo soul, in metallic paint, that has covered 178,000 km without losing its sense of occasion.

A supercharged 3.0-litre V6 and an electric motor combine for 416 PS, sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed Tiptronic S. The 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery charges from the plug and allows electric-only driving at up to 135 km/h.

The Panamera made its debut in Shanghai on 19 April 2009. Two years after the S Hybrid, this S E-Hybrid led the way once more as the first plug-in hybrid in its segment, with 416 PS and 36 km of electric range.
