Toyota GR Yaris 1.6 T Legend T/A

Few cars have so clear a birth certificate: the GR Yaris exists because Toyota wanted a rally car for the road. This 2024 example, in metallic paint with just 900 km, brings the latest evolution of that idea, with an automatic gearbox.

The 1,618 cc turbocharged three-cylinder produces 280 PS and 390 Nm. The new eight-speed GR-DAT automatic was tuned for lightning downshifts and set faster lap times than the manual on track. GR-FOUR permanent all-wheel drive splits power between the axles in Normal, Sport and Track modes.

Designed to meet World Rally Championship homologation rules, the GR Yaris was unveiled at the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon and named 2021 UK Car of the Year. The 2024 evolution debuted at the same show.
