Porsche 996 911 Turbo

Understated at first glance, overwhelming at full throttle: behind its restrained lines this 2001 911 Turbo hides supercar pace and grand-touring composure. With 73,000 km covered, it is an invitation to travel fast and well.

The water-cooled 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six, with four valves per cylinder, makes 420 PS and 560 Nm. This car has the five-speed Tiptronic S automatic, an option first offered on the Turbo with this generation, and all-wheel drive.

Unveiled at Frankfurt in 1999, it was the first water-cooled 911 Turbo and the first series Porsche to exceed 300 km/h. Its engine descends from the 3.2-litre unit that won Le Mans in 1998 in the 911 GT1.
